Ever Tried a Superfood Latte?

There’s nothing like starting your day off on a healthy note when you’re working hard to improve your health. Maybe that means rolling out of bed and going for a run, or fitting in a mindfulness meditation before you leave the house. And all of that’s great! But you might also want to consider kicking off your morning with a colorful, nutritious superfood latte.

While some include caffeinated ingredients like espresso, the more important ingredient in these lattes is the superfood itself. Common superfoods used in lattes include matcha (a bright green tea powder that may improve memory, boost mood, and reduce cholesterol and risk of heart disease) and turmeric (a golden grated Asian root with anti-inflammatory benefits), which are blended with the milk of your choice and served hot. Taro and maca are also popular superfood latte choices.
